Privacy
Short version: your settings and the holidays you add stay in your own browser. We do not run analytics or advertising, and the site sets no cookies.
What is stored in your browser
The site uses your browser's local storage only to remember choices you make. Nothing in it is sent to us. These are the only keys it uses:

holiday-planner-restricted-v1 | The restricted holidays you picked for each year (at most two per year). |
If your browser blocks storage, the planner still works; it just forgets your choices when you close the page.
Calendar files
When you download an .ics file, it is put together inside your browser and saved to your device. It is not uploaded anywhere.
What the site does not do
- No analytics or visitor tracking is active.
- No advertising is shown and no advertising code is loaded.
- No cookies are set.
- No accounts, sign-ups or forms that send data to us.
- No fonts, scripts or images are loaded from other websites.
If that ever changes, this page will be updated at the same time, before anything new is switched on.
Server logs
Once the site is hosted, the web server keeps standard access logs, as most web servers do: the address requested, the time, your IP address and the browser's user-agent string. They are used to keep the site running and secure.
Links to other sites
Source links go to official websites such as DoPT (documents.doptcirculars.nic.in) and the Reserve Bank of India. Those are separate sites with their own privacy policies.
