Long weekends in 2027
Every break of three days or more in 2027 that the central government holiday list for Delhi/New Delhi creates, worked out for three common weekly-off patterns. For each one you also see the bridge days that would stretch a holiday into a longer break.
How to read this list
- No leave needed: holidays and weekly offs that already run together for three days or more.
- Bridge days: one or two working days that sit between days off. Taking them as leave joins everything into one break. The coloured strip shows each day: weekly off, holiday, or leave.
- Restricted holidays: days from Annexure II that would make a long weekend if you choose them as one of your two restricted holidays.
- Already over or too late: with JavaScript on, breaks that have ended are marked as over, and bridges or restricted-holiday options whose leave day or restricted holiday has already passed are marked as too late.
Only the closed holidays in the DoPT list count here. Your own state, bank or company holidays will change the picture: add them in the planner or on My holidays. Moon-dependent holidays (marked in the 2027 list) may be moved after moon sighting.
